Maybe a yellow topaz, but also quite likely well cut glass. It does not look like a yellow diamond to my eye. Still a pretty ring though.

It is set in a 14 k gold belcher type setting.wish I could capture it’s true color in pics ….maybe tomarrow I will try to take some outsude. It is very sparkly but I do not see it throwing off...

If it’s a diamond, it would have some rainbows in the sparkle.  If it’s more of a glowy shine, probably yellow sapphire or citrine.

At first when I saw it was green I thought beryl. It could also be a sapphire. The most common type of yellow stone is citrine.  Can you upload betterpic or say more about the metal it is set in?
